When a bowl loses bushings and the shaft wipes out the bore, the bowl is typically damaged beyond re-use. Our Bowl Repair Sleeve restores otherwise scrap bowls by allowing the damaged bore to be precision machined and fitted with a heavy-duty press-in sleeve assembly.
This system features dual bushings, dual lip seals and a serviceable greased bowl plug for improved lubrication, sealing and long-term durability. Once installed the repaired bowl provides proper shaft support, reduced shaft wear and extended service life.
Important: Installation requires professional machining of the original bowl to accept the sleeve.
Suggested machining dimensions for proper press fit: Machine the bowl bushing bore 1.748″–1.749″ concentric to the bowl register diameter and perpendicular to the suction housing mounting face to accept the 1.750″ aluminum sleeve.
